The DGA considers me a local in Atlanta and Los Angeles, but in addition I have housing arrangements locally in Memphis, Nashville, Johnson City and Las Vegas.

Yes, I've been working with the same 2nd AD (Allan Aguilar) and 2nd 2nd (Anthony Melino) for the last 7 years. We are a well balanced team that knows each others weaknesses and strengths.

While I always prefer to travel with my team, I am flexible and understand the need to adapt to smaller budgets. I have experience hiring new members of the team and can develop a shorthand quickly.

The time varies depending on the project, but an average of 3-4 days. After which, you would review, we would discuss the schedule together and I would do a round of notes and changes if desired.

While my rate for generating a schedule and script breakdown is fixed, my AD rate varies depending on your budget.

I'm a bigger guy, 6'4 in height and I have a rather loud voice (which my wife isn't overly fond of haha) - that being said, the times of yelling at the crew on set are over. There is a difference in projecting your voice than actually yelling and my experience has taught me that cast and crew alike respond much better to a respectful and positive working atmosphere. This can be achieved without compromising the necessary authority and without losing any efficiency.

While most of my experience is in feature films and network TV, I am DGA qualified and have AD'd about a dozen commercials. My client list includes ADIDAS, Timberland, Toyota, Tamara Mellon and JBC Lifestyle.

My official title was Aircraft Structural Maintenance Journeyman. My job was to repair the structure (metal and fiberglass) of aircraft, specifically the F-15 fighter plane.
